It is Jessica’s personal experience as a teen and young adult, navigating what became an extremely abusive relationship that has continued to inspire this work, with the acknowledgement that had someone, such as herself, offered the same education that she and her team now provide, her life circumstances may have looked very different.

PROFESSIONAL SPEAKER FOR EDUCATIONAL SPACES

After extensive work in the private rehabilitation sector, intervention services, and numerous community initiative programs, Ms. Yaffa recognized the profound need for prevention, education, and professional training surrounding topics of relationship abuse. It was because of this need that Ms. Yaffa began traveling the country, speaking to high schools, universities, and youth focused organizations. She has developed unique training and certification programs for faculty and transformative, inspiring workshops that speak to the community, including parents.

Perhaps the pivotal moment of her career thus far was the epiphany that her vast knowledge of dysfunctional relationships offered her unique insight and an intimate understanding of the dynamics of healthy relationships. Ms. Yaffa pursued additional education, along with exploring specific strategies to connect this information to young people. This upleveled her ability to speak to the specific tools and methods that teens and young adults are able to engage in, utilizing their own language, so that they are operating in their authenticity, integrity and with social responsibility.

Whether it be keynote speeches, conference workshops, student and parent focused events or a combination of many of these components, Jessica now spends a significant amount of her professional speaking career pouring into this particular sector of our communities.
