HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WORKSHOPS

Virtual Relationship Coach

Teens and young adults experience relationship abuse, bullying, and sexual assault at alarming rates. Studies indicate that approximately 73% of girls and 66% of boys have experienced emotional abuse in high school dating relationships. Further, almost 20% of teens in the U.S. experience physical or sexual violence within their intimate relationships. At the college level, rates of violence remain high with approximately 35% of college students having experienced some form of dating violence. Even more teens and young adults likely experience these forms of violence as they often go unreported. At the Jessica Yaffa Coaching Institute, we are passionate about preventing relationship violence through education and awareness. Offering students, parents, and faculty education, language, and resources surrounding the development of healthy relationships is how we can change these statistics. Schools provide a unique space for students to practice engaging in healthy relationships when they may not be able to in other parts of their life.

Our team of relationship experts supports middle schools, high schools, and colleges in developing healthy communication strategies and norms. We provide faculty, parents, and students with tools and practices to promote development and maintenance of healthy relationship dynamics and a supportive school culture. By integrating our healthy relationship workshops for schools, we help create lasting change in school environments.
